Sand Bar
yellowbird

I used to play this game
 1
I’d take my legs and wrap them up,
 2
like a streamlined ice cream cone
 3
and while floating
 4
in a pink plastic circular tube
 5
begin churning the water,
 6
a whirlpool, and
 7
watch the horizon spin around me.
 8

Today we were bobbers
 9
like we used to pretend
 10
“danger” and “swimming area”
 11
only I bobbed up and down
 12
on your cock.
 13
Giggling and smiling
 14
I have forgotten to tell you
 15
that I like you better
 16
when we’re doing handstands.
