The best day of your life.

Not that you would,
but so that I can feel better
don't worry;
you still
make my head hurt
make my vision blur
make my mind melt
and maybe
make my hands
into two left feet.
Vonnegut says,
"so it goes"
and I see
that he's got a point because
or without
you complicating simple situations,
I'll still be a miserable,
and you'll have to be okay with that.

It makes me contemplate telling you about every song I wrote about you. ha, as if.
