found poem: Mike Tyson's childhood

I don't know if this is right. I've never done a "found poem" before. But there's something very lyric about the way this dude talks. I thought it was poetry in a way. http://www.michaeltyson.com/quotes.html

One morning I woke up
found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died.
I was devastated and was gonna use his crate
as my stickball bat to honor him.
I left the crate on my stoop
went in to get something
I returned to see the sanitation man
put the crate into the goddamn crusher.
I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple
with a titanic right hand
he was out cold,
convulsing on the floor
like an infantile retard.

A great attempt... I staggered over "infantile retard", but that's just the "PC" part of me, so I can overlook that.  The best poems are very far from "PC".  Shit, just read some of mine some time.
I like this... Very good for a first attempt at a "found poem".
