Depersonalize me

Inspire me with the sensual suffocation of this world capsulation
in this time-bomb
I wonder how much ticking will I do
instead of tocking
into the hallowed living room-
we guard our secrets in
protecting us from hating ourselves
in sight of a neighbour doing no more than looking at you
standing in the comforts of a home
so very uncomfortably
with the clock and the last word said to someone
ringing with the repetitiveness of the tick-tock,
in your 10-pound package
you wish you could stamp and send to someone who could figure out how to use it.
