Winter Willow

Coveted in the way
that kids yearn to belong
The willow sways
tracing her hips
swing baby swing
Winter cold nips
at the nape of her neck
a beat flows strong
the floor stands wrecked
footwork beyond finesse
each tap falling, a sting
the willow branches slow caress

It's quite beautiful, but I feel there's no point to it. What is it trying to say, what exactly is it describing, what lies in between the lines? Is it just about a tree?

just comparing the movements of a dancer to the movements of a willow tree in the wind. Tried adding a little mingling of the two, although they are separate.
