unlearned
uncjaf

she stretched
 1

forever the length of my vinyl couch her long legs they
 2

flowed as water flows from dark soil
 3

underneath her blue silk blouse of evening flowers inviting
 4

seduction and what the lights did to her lips how the shadows
 5

blessed her body, slowly, I forgot to be decent again
 6

                           slowly, I unlearned decency and
 7

prayed for a chance I sat I laughed
 8

I watched
 9

pulled close by her short breaths and
 10

pushed further away by childish laughter,
 11

I tilted the chair
 12

sat uncomfortably
 13

distanced myself
 14

wondering
 15

      can she know?
