The Most Despaired Emily

I never met Emily
but through the door
she described herself to me.
Her despair well noted,
though, in her voice
and my voice
I could have made her smile -
for one day a doctor asked me how I reacted to the lose of my parents.
to I responded as if I were someone in which sadness settled.
I am all
the most happy water
in which to cleanse
the most despaired Emily  -
