self-proclaimed, at that
your timing was almost amusing
breaking me all the way through
on the anniversary of my arrival
to a loveless world
I thought I'd make you my muse
in a sad attempt to use you like
you used me
but, as it turns out, you're too shallow
to write deep poetry about
