Flash Fire
stonehook

I hear the roar
 1
of distant thunder,
 2
the moment lightening
 3
strikes my heart;
 4
a white-hot
 5
blinding flash of passion
 6
sears my soul
 7
as its sheared in half.
 8

Night, suddenly
 9
engulfed by fire,
 10
with only you
 11
to heed my cries;
 12
yet all I see
 13
from deep beneath you
 14
is the flame
 15
reflected in your eyes.
