Help me get out of here
PureSunShine

And there a pretty blonde angel sat
 1
On those old church house steps
 2
With the rain pouring down, I wondered
 3
why, why did those green eyes have to cry?
 4
and even with her makeup smeared cheeks,
 5
she was still oh so perfect to me.
 6

I watched her weep in the rain,
 7
and as I hid behind that old oak tree,
 8
Head-over-heels, couldn't figure out the words,
 9
to stop those tears from falling.
 10

and In the music of her cries
 11
I heard her sad angelic voice sigh
 12
Wont you help me get out of here,
 13
I've got to get out of here,
 14
please help me get out of here
 15
before I go crazy...
 16

And I wanted to be the one to save her
 17
I needed to be the one to take her away
 18
But my own guilt in my heart knew;
 19
held me, Told me I shouldn't
 20
I'd lie and say I couldn't
 21
be the one she needed
 22

in the music of her cries
 23
I heard her angelic voice sigh
 24
Wont you please, help me get out of here,
 25
I've got to get out of here,
 26
Please help me get out of here
 27
before I go crazy.
 28

Could she know I stood there?
 29
'cause it was as if my angel was talking,
 30
Telling only me in that silent night
 31
'Don't let me go crazy, Don't leave me alone'
 32
and I knew that I would not
 33
save her broken heart,
 34
selfishness of me, I just couldn't
 35

I couldn't help her get out of there.
