Night's Afternoon Dance

The butterfly dances
to the melodic hum
and lace wings beat to the eternal rhythm
of the summer's sunny afternoon
Each flower- a poised partner
to sheer dark wings
shimmering like a starry night
in the brilliance of the afternoon

I like the calmness this evokes....i might've changed the last line, but the rest is for me very soothing
