ya, i thought that too.

but no one listens- they're deaf it seems.

it's the topic, don't you think? it would have turned the same if the thread was "are there UFO's?", or, "is there a difference between poetry and prose?".

people use this as a chat room, and they really just want to say hello and make noise here and not be judged. too bad, cause the wreckers just don't write comments that well... style, i mean... writing like law clerks sometimes and trailer trash most of the time.

I guess I knew that it would turn into a bashing thread, like all the others. I was just hoping for better.

no one seems to want to listen. threads just seem to be something people want to throw in their hateful opinions. i think the no bashing idea is great.

netsky,

Why do you continue to stereotype yourself? Nobody cares if you are a homo or not. Live life. Do you think the rest of us go around thinking about our sexual orientation all day - it is a moot point and boring.

Look at the thread title, SweetPea?

The link is to yet another example of HOW Christians are warped to hate and destroy gays.

Fags must die. It says so in the bible
That's pretty evil, I think.  No, I know it's evil.

So, it's not about stereotyping "me".  It's about stopping perpetual harrassment of gays, which has repressed and sometimes killed
-unknown millions- of gays during the past two fucked-up millenia.

evil is definitely agreeable. killed is a fact as well. to those of you who are unaware, homosexuals along with gypsies were widely persecuted and put into concentration camps during World War 2 in Germany. A lot of them were killed, and many more kept simply for their way of life. how are any of you to say that this is not as evil as Jews being persecuted for their beliefs or anyone else? anyone who has a grasp on reality should know that the Abrahamic bible is a wide assortment of many different books from many different religions that were active before Christianity took over. these books were never meant to be put together, they were simply stolen. why is this so hard for people to understand? if you even begin to read through that bible its fairly obvious that there is no semblance of continuity. after stealing the books the church leaders simply went through and cut out or changed anything that they didnt approve of, such as always making god referred to as he in the bible even though god clearly has no gender. also making the role of women in the bible much smaller, and removing certain books that they didnt think should be taught though they had been taught for many years before and were accepted as part of the canon. I believe someone else already brought it up somewhere on this board, but the fact that Romans were notorious for their homosexual practices as were some of the other socieities that were persecuting this faltering religion almost certainly lead to the inclusion of homosexuality as a most notorious sin. or perhaps its just a coincedence that Jesus Christ was supposedly killed by the Romans and the Jews, and these two groups were who Christianity hated the most and were trying to strike out against or separate themselves from. if you actually go through and read the stories of the bible youll realize that they dont apply to us anymore for the simple fact that THEY WERE WRITTEN AGES AGO. ANY IDEA THAT PROMOTES HATRED OF ANYONE IS NOT OF GOD!. this is surely not an incredibly hard idea to grasp.

why couldn't it just be that Paul was a "sissy", a "momma's boy", and was afraid of any manifestation of "male" at all? that seems more likely. and, having shared a changing room, at the dead-sea spa, with ultra-orthos... and knowing that orthodoxes of most kinds are a continuation into urban life of peasant life... and, knowing that peasants are beaten into not raping cows or something, much less each other, why shouldn't it have been that Paul simply was writing jesus's trip as Paul's trip. who knows what little jesus and john did when they were hanging out together as punk radicals?
