Isn't it kind of hard to totally rely on the bible? I mean a: New testament God vs Old Testament God are different dudes. b: it seems like everything man is naturally is what God wants him not to be, which is kind of impossible. c:everyone sins everyone is human . d:exactly who wrote the bible, and more importantly who changed it? Who translated it? Who copied it? Thousands of Years and not a sole has changed a word?

Humans are flawd.
God is divine and perfect.
God's words are flawless

How can we trust the deliverance of his word from any source other than him?
How can we trust the deliverance of his word from Humans? Fickle, weak, impressionable, sinful, humans, who can easily take away the purity of his words and manipulate them to fit their desires?

I'm all for God, but I don't trust Humans to interpret it for me.

Here, here!  Someone's sane and thinks things through for themselves - a miracle.

Do you think God is not great enough to protect his divine word? I trust that God would make sure no one changed his words- I think God is that awesome.

There is debate that The Bible was changed when it was translated to Latin (?), but if you go back to the orginal greek, hebrew, and aramic that the bible was written in, it's still the same.

have you heard of the dead sea scrolls?

The God in Old and New Testaments are the same. What is it that makes you think they are different? Maybe I can give you my opinion if that would help.

If you aren't sure whether the Bible is God's Word or not, then ask him about it- to reveal to you that the bible is his word. And don't give up. :)

i think god could care less about protecting his word

what does he have to protect if there is no one greater than him

that's why he lets us the hell alone

and another thing

if it is still the same then how come
the word that we have transated into VIRGIN actually meant young woman in the original?

since every chapter was written in a different era sometimes hundreds of years apart then one word can change meaning lots of times

the bible means what ever you want it to mean and if you take the word of some preacher for what it means you are an idiot.

read it yourself.
